These lacy motif curtains are a great introduction to working with thread. In this easy pattern, the larger motifs are joined as you go, with smaller motifs joined in afterward. The tiny mirrors worked into the centers of the motifs throw twinkling little lights around the room when they catch the sunlight.

Finished Size: 24" wide and 32" long.

Yarn: J&P Coats Royale Fashion Crochet #3 Thread (100% mercerized cotton; 150 yd [137 m]/1.3 oz [36.9 g]): #325 tangerine, 7 balls. Yarn distributed by Coats & Clark.

Hook: Size C/2 (2.75 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.

Notions: One hundred forty 1" round mirrors, Darice Big Value Mirrors Round 1" used; yarn needle.

Gauge: 1 large motif = 3½" unblocked and 4" blocked; 1 small motif = 2" unblocked and 2" blocked.

I'm having trouble with the motif joins, any suggestions? The instructions are not clear.
