This little dress works up really fast. I plan on shortening the skirt just slightly. The pattern is from the Spring 2010 issue of Interweave Crochet http://www.interweavestore.com/interweave-crochet-spring-2010-digital-edition.
LOVE thatcolor! Are you going to put any accent colors in there? Yellow perhaps might look really nice. But even just like that, it looks nice so far. :)
Hi Toni! April here. I'm so flattered that you're making my dress! It is so nice how fast that bodice goes, isn't it? Enjoy!
Yellow would be lovely and very summery. I will still need to line the dress and a yellow print fabric would be perfect! I'll keep my eyes peeled. Thanks for the suggestion.
I'm using a multi red-pink-white yarn from Sinfonia and plan to put a solid color fabric under the skirt. I had planned to shorten my skirt as well, since my 4 month old would just get tangled up in a longer dress (I plan to crochet a matching diaper cover). I would love to hear how you alter the pattern to shorten it - I left out rows 9-12 on the upper portion of the skirt and went straight to working in the round from row 8. I'm just about to start the bottom border, then on to the sleeves and finishing touches. :)
wow thats really good. I tried working on a blanket but it went trianglar.
I'm happy, because at this moment, I can get what I want. Although many things are happening at the moment.
