A quick craftivism project worked in a chunky
yarn, you can quickly crochet several and donate them to a local charity or
make one for your own kitty. Crocheted chain stitch embellishes the textured
background with a fanciful fish.

Yarn: Lion Brand Wool Ease Chunky (80% acrylic, 20% wool; 153 yd [140 m]/5 oz [140 g]): #178 Nantucket (MC), 2 skeins; #186 amber (CC) 1 skein.
Hook: Size I/9 (5.5 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions: Yarn needle.
Gauge: 12 sts and 11½ rows = 4" in st patt.
