A diaphanously structured lace shawl, this wrap uses treble clusters to create a striking flower design. A great intermediate level project, this pattern includes stitch diagrams for the visual crocheter. This shawl is a great accessory for any season.

Designer Lisa Naskrent
Finished Size: About 70" wide and 35" tall.
Yarn: Malabrigo Lace (100% baby merino; 470 yd [430 m]/1¾ oz [50 g]): #98 tuareg, 3 hanks.
Hook: Size G/6 (4.25 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions: Yarn needle; 4 stitch markers (m); scraps of yarn.
Gauge: Before blocking, smooth out Rows 1–5 and measure with yarn relaxed naturally: 6¾" from corner to corner; 4" tall from center ring of Row 1 to center tip of Row 5. Gauge is not critical.


Row 6: Ch 1, sc in first st, ch 2, *5 sc in next ch-5 sp, ch 2; rep from * to first m, 5 sc in marked ch-5 sp, remove m, ch 2, 5 sc in next ch-5 sp, remove m, ch 5, 5 sc in next ch-5 sp, pm in last ch-5 sp made (center tip marked), ch 5, 5 sc in next marked ch-5 sp, remove m, **ch 2, 5 sc in next ch-5 sp; rep from ** to end, ch 2, sc in top of tch, turn. (Chart is correct.)

Row 11: Ch 1, sc in first 2 sc, sc2tog (see Glossary), hdc in next 2 hdc, dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc, tr in next ch-2 sp, 2 dc in next dc, dc in next dc... (Chart is correct.)

I was kind of past the stage of doing anymore shawls but the pattern on this is lovely!
