I first designed this square as simply a bunch of filet hearts. but after completion I  decided to spice it up by adding some surface crochet and a edging while making the edging easy to join to other squares. And i can't believe how cool it turned out!

Very creative! And beautiful to look at-both close up view and far away. Many pieces don't pass both tests. Again, love it! I would love all your patterns you have created for this project.  Good luck!

This square is awesome. My great-grandmother did all sorts of filet crochet, and this square reminds me a little of her. Any tips for me if I wanted to try something like this for myself? Thanks!

Hey my advice have fun :) to make this square I first created a filet square using basic filet crochet technique than I used different colors and crocheted basically edging right on top tracing the outline of the hearts from the original square it was fun but a little tricky I would say advanced to master maybe
