This snowflake is crocheted along with the square rather than attached afterwards.  Snowflake is mostly chain which is appropriate for Chain Reaction Project

This is really lovely! I'd like to see it with some metallic or iridescent yarn in the snow flake but other than that I can see this looking beautiful as anything from a baby coverlet to a scarf. Very nice work.
