I am having entirely too much trouble getting my gauge right....anyone have ideas on how I can increase my row height without increasing the stitches?  I have gorgrous yarn to create this, can't wait to get it started, and need to get it done for a gift! Thanks!

@cgronli - did you have trouble with the gauge? if you have finished the yoke what is its general dimensions?

It's a shame that the only reason I bought the magazine was for this pattern, and I have been thinking about putting a subscirption on my wish list...but if there are issues with patterns I need to know I can get a response.... :(

Is there a mistake in this pattern?  I'm having trouble with row 4 of the fan pattern, seeing as it says to dc in next ch-3 space 5 times, and there are 7 chain-3 spaces to the fan pattern, made from 8 clusters of previous row.  Are we to skip some of these spaces?

I'm not having trouble with the gauge.  Remember that the gauge is AFTER BLOCKING!

I sent you an email this morning asking for help and so far no response.  I have finished the Yoke and worked on this first

because the patt. states to work from the top down beg. at the neck. On the same side of the page, left side,

are directions for "fan patt"  rows 1 to 6. On the next page , no heading, shows rows l to row 3 followed by "edging" and '"Finishing"

Do I now continue with "Fan patt or the other page?  I am confused.

I bought the magazine for this pattern only and expenses yarn. Pattern does not work. I have crochet for 40 years and can do any patterns but not this one. Someone should care to rewrite pattern.
