The construction of Sydney's Sideways Socks lets them magically expand and contract to fit an amazing range of foot sizes, from tween to grown-up man—a great gift for folks with unknown foot sizes.

Designer Brenda K. B. Anderson
Finished Size:
7½ (8½, 9½)" long foot, unstretched, after blocking. Sample is size 8½".
Yarn:
Wisdom Yarns Poems Sock (75% superwash wool, 25% nylon; 459 yd [420 m]/3½ oz [100 g]): #956 vista, 2 skeins. Yarn distributed by Universal Yarn.
Hook:
Size C/2 (2.5 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions:
Stitch marker (m); yarn needle.
Gauge:
24 sts and 36 rows = 4" in sc blo, after blocking.
Skill Level: Intermediate

I agree it's not fair to show a neat idea without availability of the pattern. I really would

like to make these socks as I have very bad feet and finding comfortable socks isn't
