Inspired by Irish lace, Claudia's Capelet is made up of leaf motifs worked in a thick-and-thin yarn, then joined with chain stitches for a flirty capelet that flutters in the breeze.

Tahki Rio (50% alpaca, 35% merino, 15% silk; 87 yd [80 m]/1¾ oz [50 g]):
#2 driftwood, 6 skeins.
Hook: Sizes H/8 (5
mm), J/10 (6 mm), and K/10½ (6.5 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to
obtain correct gauge.

sc and 16 rows = 4" with smallest hook. Small leaf motif through Rnd 8
measures about 3" wide by 5" long.
