I made this for my daughter.  A beautiful beach wedding and a beautiful shawl for her to wear when the sun set and cool ocean breezes arrived during the reception.  The shawl has the look of intricate lace but is easy to crochet.  I would recommend this pattern for anyone wanting an unusual shawl pattern for a bride.
