The only way that I can download this "free pattern" is to download a dangerous pdf downloader file.  I really wanted to make this.

This Cardigan advertisement appears as a free pattern and download.  The button that says go there states the page is not available.  But after my further reseach, I found there is a cost for the pattern in the Interweave Store.

I have the same problem as everyone else.....where do you get the download?

I really love this pattern and the body and sleeves worked up very easily, but I'm lost on how exactly the sleeves are joined to the body. The pattern isn't very explicit and, as someone that has never made a garment where the sleeves were made seperately, I am having a hard time figuring out exactly how I am supposed to attach them. Any help anyone could throw my way would be very much appreciated.

Originalgrissel, you seem to be the only one that has been able to get this pattern. How did you do it?

For those trying to get this pattern it is a purchase only.  There are posts and links out there that indicate it is free, it is not.  I have purchased this, it is a great pattern.

Like everyone else I was confused about how to get the pattern, as I too had seen it listed as a free download, but after much head scratching, I found the link for the actual pattern (whichI have included below). The pattern is not free, however, but you can download it as an infdividual pattern for  $5.50  or you can download the Interweave Crochet Winter 2010 digital issue (in which  the pattern appears) for  $6.99. Obviously the full issue is a better deal since there are a ton of ofther great patterns it in as well, but the Riverstone Cardigan pattern can be purchased either way. I Hope this helps. And, I did finally figure out how to attach the sleeves, so don't let that put anyone off. If I can do it, ANYONE can do it. :-)
