Amigurumi Peacock

My mom collects peacocks and she asked me if I could make her one, so I set to work coming up with a pattern.  Before it was done I had made three different versions of the head and at least two tails, but it turned out just beautiful!

Sorry, I made it up as I went & didn't write it down.  I do most of my work 'free-hand' and I am TERRIBLE about not writing it down because I'm always changing things or ripping out rows and such.

I keep looking for some way to make a peacock shawl. Your pretty bird's tail has potential! I am also a free-hand crocheter, and if you would consider showing a close-up of one of the tail feathers, I could take it from there!
