I made this for my huusband. I used Rowan Felted Tweed DK and it worked up beautifully. No problems with the pattern and he gets many compliments on it. I will be making it for my son next.

I am just starting this project and I am a little confused because what I have crocheted so far does not look like the schematic diagram on page 5 of the pattern.  Are the side seams in the middle of the under arm or to the front or back of the under arm?

I have followed the pattern exactly so far but i am concerned about the part on the left hand side that is longer - i don't want to go too much further before I know whether this is correct.

Hope someone who has already made this can set me right
