With a little clever seaming, a long wavy strip twists into a cute little crocheted bag. A crocheted lining gives it heft plus a jazzy contrast color.

Finished Size:
About 9" diameter.
Yarn:
Red Heart Soft Solids (100% acrylic; 256 yd [234 m]/5 oz [140 g]): #9925 really red (MC), 1 skein.
Red Heart Designer Sport (100% acrylic; 279 yd [255 m]/3 oz [85 g]): #3515 lagoon (CC), 1 skein. Yarns distributed by Coats & Clark.
Hook Sizes: H/8 (5 mm), G/6 (4 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions:
16 colors of scrap Yarn (3 pieces of each color, each about 4" long), 6¼" purse frame with handle (sew on style); 6 st markers (m; 1 of these markers should be in a contrasting color); Yarn needle; sewing needle and thread (matching MC).
Gauge:
14 sts and 8 rows = 4" in hdc blo on larger hook with MC. Work through Rnd 9 of lining patt with CC and smaller hook. Circle should measure 4" diameter.
