This clever shawl works four-petaled motifs in a two-pass method that leaves fewer ends to weave in. The trapezoid shape and bias stretch combine to give this crocheted shawl exceptional drape.

About 64" wide and 20" long. Size is easily customizable.
Yarn:
Blue Moon Fiber Arts Socks That Rock Lightweight (100% superwash merino; 360 yd [329 m]/4½ oz [127 g]; ): basan; 2 skeins.
Hook Size:
E/4 (3.5 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions:
Yarn needle.
Gauge:
2 flower motifs and 2 diamonds = 4" in patt. For gauge swatch, work Rows 1-6 of shawl and measure across 2 motifs and 2 diamonds both horizontally and vertically.
