Chubby shells are worked from the center out, and then framed with a second color for a quick strip for this scrumptious crocheted scarf.

Finished Size:
5" wide and 65" long.
Yarn:
Malabrigo Chunky (100% merino; 104 yd [95 m]/3½ oz [100 g]): #96 sunset (MC), 1 skein; #68 violetas (CC), 2 skeins.
Hook Size:
N/15 (9 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions:
St marker (m); scissors; Yarn needle.
Gauge:
2½ shell rows = 4" tall; 1 shell row = 3" wide.

This pattern works up quickly with a bulky yarn.  A great project for a short road trip.  Worseted weight yarns work really good too.
