This elegant shawl begins with the lacy edge, and then seed stitch is worked in short rows to create a crescent shape. It works up quickly for an excellent last-minute gift.

Finished Size:
About 61" wide and 14" long at center.
Yarn:
Sanguine Gryphon Bugga! (70% superwash merino, 20% cashmere, 10% nylon; 412 yd [377 m]/4 oz [114 g]; ): dragon millipede, 1 skein.
Hook Size:
I/9 (5.5 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions:
Yarn needle.
Gauge:
5 sc and 4 ch-1 sps = 4" in seed st patt, blocked. Gauge is not critical for this project.

Wow, love that lace edge. Wish there were more lace patterns for winter, esp here in southern California.,
