Equilateral triangles embedded with diamonds join to create a shawl that doesn't slip off your shoulders. This intermediate shawl pattern uses linked treble crochets and X-stitches to create a sophisticated lace fabric.

Finished Size: 19½" from center back neck to bottom edge.
Yarn: Schoppel Wolle Zauberball (75% wool, 25% nylon; 459 yd [420 m]/3½ oz [100 g]): 1535 stone washed; 2 balls.
Hook Size: G (4.25 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions: St markers (m); yarn needle.
Gauge:
4 xtr sts = 4" and 4 rows = 3½" in diamond patt.
