Introduction

About three years ago, I was lucky enough to become an aunty yet again, and to celebrate I decided to make a pretty little baby blanket for the new niece or nephew. I wanted something bold and fun, and this pattern was the result! I loved it, the new parents loved it, and my sister-in-law tells me even complete strangers remarked on it.

Materials List

Yarn: 1449 yards Lion Brand Cotton-Ease (7 skeins) or same quantity other worsted weight yarn

Hook: 5.0mm (US - H/8)

Finished Size

Approximately 36" x 36"

Notes

Video tutorial and written instructions for the Bobble Stitch are included, as well as a chart and a link to the Spanish version.

I made this blanket for my new Granddaughter. As a beginner crocheter, I found it remarkably easy to make and generates lots of positive comments. I love it.

I made this for a friend and started when I first found out she was pregnant.  It took me almost her whole pregnancy to finish!!  The bobbles are very time comsuming! But on a positive note receive lots of compliments on it
