I, too, am having a problem getting the gauge correct with the recommend yarn and hook sizes. I have attempted it anyway with recommended hook size and it was too large. I went down one hook size and it was too small. Two strikes and I don't know if I will bother with it again. It's so pretty and easy, but something weird in the sizing. omc electric shift outdrive
