This quick and easy crochet cardigan, created from a relatively small amount of yarn, is worn open as an accent. It moves beautifully as you walk, instantly transforming even the most basic outfit.

Finished Size:
30 (36, 39, 42, 45, 48, 51)" bust circumference. Samples shown are longer version: 30", shorter version: 39".
Yarn:
Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock (80% superwash merino, 20% nylon; 435 yd [398 m]/3 1/2 oz [100 g]; CYCA #1): longer version: humboldt, 2 (2, 3, 3, 3, 3, 3) skeins; shorter version: pewter, 2 skeins all sizes.
Hook Sizes:
H/8 (5 mm); I/9 (5.5 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Notions:
Yarn needle.
Gauge:
6 sh = 9" and 12 rows = 8¼" in sh patt with larger hook.

I'm making this right now and have realized that the magazine does not say when to do the edging around the armholes, which is pretty obvious in the second picture here.  That same picture does not seem to have a huge seam at the shoulder, so I'm guessing that you do the shoulder seams when stated, do the edging that is stated, and then do the same edging around each armhole.  I haven't seen any errata about this, so I'm posting this.  Perhaps it can be added later.  Thank you, I am loving this pattern and it is looking wonderful in some Noro- it's striped!  :)

How do I get the directions for this duster?
