It seems that this webinar was simply an overview of her book. I thought there would be some "how to" examples, with pictures. I have to admit I turned it off before the end because it was not what I expected.

I do agree with janices'comment.  It was really annoying to find out that it was only a long advertisement.  I changed my Friday schedule to be able to attend such deceit.  Even the  asked "questions" were previously arranged and sounded dummy.  Of course I didn't waste the whole hour and did shut down the false "webinar".    Please don't play with people's time.  It is not honest at all. The whole thing was a fake.

I enjoyed the webinar and I'm looking forward for the next one. I appreciate the answers given to my questions. Yes I did write 3 questions and were answered. It took me a bit to write them since english is my second language (I'm from Puerto Rico), but my questions were read outloud and answered. The reception was not the best at times, but I really appreciate the efforts made to give us this opportunity. I have the book already, so I could search for the page and see other details while she was talking. Count me in for the next one.

This was a hyped-up, overly long, advertisement for Kristin Omdahl's latest book. I think that Interweave Press needs to feel guily about this and think again if they are going to promote any thing remotely similar.  Also, they couldn't even have the sound be good...but with hardly anything actually helpful to listen to, I guess we did not miss out.

I too did not waste my valuable time to watch the whole video. I think these kind of tactics just insult your reader, viewers and fans.

It is bad enough that Interweave Press is taking excerps from their books and videos to make "new" instructional videos that are marketed at a very low price. They are repeated techniques and if some have gotten the original longer version and then thinks that this is something new, they will be very dissappointed.

I missed the webinar because our timelines are different. I logged on a few times but each day or time wasn't right. Then the last time it had finished. I wrote an email complaining of this matter but wasn't answered. I got the email saying thank you for logging on and watching the webinar blah blah.

At first I was pleased when I could get the online seminar but after listening for sometime I got bored. The sound wasn't that great either and its not my computer. I have read the comments below and agree with all the ones that are saying it is basically a advertisement for the book.

I am so disappointed that I am thinking of closing my account with Crochet Me etc.

I, too, was disappointed in the "advertisement" of the book. I also thought there would have been at least ONE demo on how to do a pattern. I am hoping that the 20% discount off the book is worth it.

Hi,  I signed up for the Webinar, but unfortunately was in the hospital on that day.  From the comments, it sounds like people were not happy with it, and if those comments reflect the way it was, I would not have been either.  It is certainly a good thing you did not charge for it.

On a related note, It is so disappointing to see an email from one of the Interweave family, and you have hope that it will be something interesting, as it sometimes is, but then, it is an 'AD' for one of more of your products.  Multiple times a week!!!

You do way too much marketing!!!  And you are my favorite publisher.  Can you clean up your act?

Boring! I started watching and turned it off after only a couple of minutes. You would think with all the technology available they could come up with something a bit more engaging. And I agree with some of the others that this was just a long ad for the book. I won't sign up again.

I was so disappointed when I missed the live webinar!  Then I was so excited that I could watch it at a later date!  However, it was a total waste of time!  This is just an ad for her book!  I was led to believe that it would show you how to do the stitches for the edgings and was extremely disappointed!

I will have to agree with the other remarks.  This was not a learning experience which is what I expected.  I would give the 'seminar' 1 or 1 1/2 stars.  I listened on my IPhone and was hoping the video would be better.  Sadly it was not.  About the only thing I learned was that the speaker likes Lantern Moon hooks.

Please rethink the issue the next time you do a webinar.  Basically I have found crochetme.com and Interweave great sources.

NOT what the title listed. This was just one long commercial for a book. Color me dissappointed, in myself for being duped.
