Introduction

This is a FREE pattern for a basic or beginner amigurumi project - smiley face balls.

Materials List

Approx. 100 yards of worsted weight yarn

Size F (3.75mm) crochet hook

Scissors, yarn needle, stitch markers (e.g. paper clip)

Polyester fiberfill stuffing (found at most craft stores near the pillow inserts)

Optional hot glue gun

An assortment of eyes:  either safety eyes, sew-on eyes, buttons, glue-on eyes

1 skein of black embroidery floss for sewing on features

Optional pieces of felt for embellishments

Finished Size

Finished smiley ball is approx. 4 inches in diameter.

Gauge

Gauge is not important.
