The main body panels of this tunic are worked side to side. Single crochet ribbing at the hips contrasts with the body's textured crunch stitch.  And inside is a surprise: a hidden pouch pocket!

YARN Classic Elite Yarns Fresco; (60% wool, 30% baby alpaca, 10% angora; 164 yd [150 m]/1¾ oz [50 g]): #5317 sangria, 11 (12, 14, 15, 16) hanks.

HOOK size E/4 (3.5 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.

NOTIONS Yarn needle.

GAUGE 20 sts and 30 rows = 4½ × 5½" over main body pattern stitch. 20 sts and 30 rows = 3½ × 5½" over ribbing. 20 sts 19 rows = 3½ × 3" over sc.
