Introduction

This cowl is SUPER fast, uses Worsted weight or Aran yarn and a U.S. size “I” crochet hook. You begin the cowl in the center front and work flat while making the simple sc/fpdc increasing pattern, then you will join and work in the round. The side increases end up making a slight scalloping. This cowl is warm, squishy and makes a wonderful gift or craft fair item.

Materials List

Worsted weight yarn 130 - 150 yds.
U.S. size "I" hook (5.5mm)

Finished Size

19 - 19.25" in circumference unblocked. (has a lot of stretch so will fit over all heads)

9.25" in height.

Gauge

Not terribly important but should try to achieve somewhere near 14 sts (in pattern) = 4".
