This top has figure-flattering converging lines highlighted by a slow-striping yarn. Short rows create the asymmetrical rows in the boy; filet crochet adds interest to the short drop sleeves.

I wish there was a tutorial for this pattern.  I am working on the sleeves now and when I look at it it looks big enough to be a dress.  no clue what I have done wrong (or right) got frustrated and had to put it down.

This is a wonderful top pattern.  I have completed two of these and am working on my third.  Written very well, it is also a fun pattern to work up.  This is what inspired me to break down and actually buy this magazine.  I am now officially addicted.  I'm glad I broke that seal because I'm not a major fan of your magazine and will never miss an issue. :)

I have a customer in the shop trying to make this top and having trouble with the gauge swatch.  It doesn't specify what stitch the gauge swatch should be done with!

Here is a area that might help with some questions you have on making this top.  Marcy might be able to help you.  She has some suggestions there as well.

I think I have detected an error in how the last half of sleeve row 11 is written out, it does not properly “mirror” how the first half is written.

After you do however number of dc your size is written for, you should (ch 1, sk next ch 1 space, dc in next 3 dc) twice, ch 1, dc in each of next 2 dc, 2 dc in last dc, turn.

The original has you repeat the section in brackets (I’ve used parentheses above) 3 times, ch 1, dc in last dc, which actually belongs with row 12.
