I love this pattern! I wanted to make one for my 1 year old niece. So I started with Encore Worsted and a G hook (too big, but I think will fit my 4 year old nephew), then another with fingering weight yarn and an F hook (too small, but it will go to a newborn) and finally one with scraps of DK weight yarn with an F hook (and changed colors on some of the rounds) - and I think it will be just right for my niece. But I want to make more!

Thank you so much for this pattern! Since yesterday I have made one for myself and another for a friend's little girl. I can hardly wait to deliver the hat and see her reaction.

It is fun to wear, quick to make, and it really keeps me warm.

Hi! I made this hat for a friend's two-year-old, and it is absolutely gorgeous! It looks like a work of art in a worsted weight pink chenille. I will be making hats for every little girl I know!
Thanks a ton for this pattern!!!

I made one for my granddaughter at work, three people saw it, loved it, and asked me to make some for them.  Now I get to make three more.  This is such a fun little hat to make, and so easy to make it unique.  I've had to recopy my copy twice, it's been folded and refolded, and marked on so much.    FUN FUN FUN!!!!!

I just finished a baby version of this. SOOO cute!  My 4 year old want one now, too.

Based on what a previous user said, I used worsted weight and an F hook, and it turned out just about perfect for a 3-6 month old.

Going to try a G hook for my 4year old (she's small for her age), and and H hook for one of her friends with a birthday coming up, who is average to a little big for her age.

Thanks for posting this perfect little hat!
