I am having trouble learning how to join blocks. I crocheted two blocks and cannot figure out how to join them. The side is not square, it has 5 dc, ch 5 picot( makes a point in the center of the side, chain 5, 5 dc. How do you join blocks that are not straight on the side?

I wanted to thank you for putting this concept down on paper. You just helped me teach an ingeneous girl how to put her ideas into a hat shape. However, I believe that your total stitches listed at the end of each row are incorrectly figured as well as the instructions for how the stitch increases work out in each set. The concept is clear and I think it still works out with some tweaking.

Just wondering if you have any suggestions for a simillar yarn to use for this project. I live in Canada, and we do not carry the required yarn anywhere. Thanks.

I just finished this pattern, and I love it, but I would like to add that for those of us with large heads, adding extra rounds with 11-13 works wonderfully.

Thank you!

I just finished this pattern, and the result is sooo cute ^^
I only had to add some rounds, firstly because of my large head, and also because of the Rowan kid mohair-silk yarn i used and that seems to be a bit thiner than yours.

Thank you :)
