Hi! Loved this so much I made one for me! Got lots of compliments and have just made one for my best friend for Christmas! If you want to take a look, it's... here> http://www.ravelry.com/projects/talumirage/martinas-xmas-scarf

Thanks for the inspiration! Now I wonder if I make one for my boyfriend, will he actually wear it? That'll be the measure of your success! :D

Hi, I like the scarf and the colors. I may use those same colors and try red instead of purple. My hubby is not a purple person...lol.

I found the perfect way to avoid the boyfriend [hubster] curse. have them crochet the sweater!

when I met my hubster he already crocheted, queen hooks and 2-3 strands used huge amts of yarn [duh]

I got him to use h-k and just one strand and he did try to make a sweater vest with a smaller hook and

thread -took 10ys to finish -well it was supposed to be a sweater WITH sleeves but I told him to omit

them and settle for what was done already.no pix he won't let me but I know he's worn it.

thanks for this scarf pattern he prob will like to do this him self in purple and burgundy with gray.
