please post a photo of this hat. I'm looking for a easy, southern style sun hat pattern. This may fit the bill, but I hesitate to begin without a picture. Thanks. Lea

Thank you for sharing your pattern. I belong to a group that has taken up  crocheting for cancer patients, who have under gone chemo and radiation.  This looks like a very good item to give these people  to boost their spirits.  I thank you from my heart, for sharing your creativeness, talents, and the goodness of your soul.  Bless you.

"one size fits all", "gauge", and yarn wt.. seem vague to me if someone wants to do this once and picks the wrong yarn and doesn't get a gauge similar to whatever you got.  Even the most experienced crocheter would have these thoughts, I think.

I'm making the hat pattern above and know how many stitches I should have after row 16. When I work row 29, I end up with 48 long dc. Please help so I can finish this pattern. Frederic

One of the things that annoys me when I see a good free pattern like this, is that there is no printing icon.  It makes keeping the pattern to work on later so much easier.  I look forward to trying this.

Thank you.
