Materials List

J/10 Hook 6.00MM
Red Heart Hunter Green and Aqua

Tapestry Needle to sew in ends

Finished Size

15 inches Headband Ties are 6.5 inches each Total size 28 inches

Gauge

6 stitches = 2 inches

Notes

ch 1 sc in first stitch throughout

Special stitch:

insert hook in same st,(first sc) YO and pull up a loop, insert hook in next st, YO and pull up a loop, YO and draw through all 3 loops on hook

The Pattern

ch 41

1: sc in 2nd chain from hook *insert hook in same st, YO and pull up a loop, insert h ook in next st, YO and pull up a loop, YO and draw through all 3 loops on hook* Repeat across ch 1 turn

2: sc in first stitch *insert hook in same st, YO and pull up a loop, insert h ook in next st, YO and pull up a loop, YO and draw through all 3 loops on hook* Repeat across ch 1 turn

3: repeat row 2 finish off

Join contrasting color in corner with a sl st, sc 3x's in same stitch as join

4: sc in each stich around, 3 sc in each corner, finish off

Ties:

Join with a sl st to Right Side in two middle stitches

I made it for my daughter on the weekend and she loves it.I couldn't figure out the ties. Could you show a picture of what the ties look like and how they connect to the band?
