Hi - was looking for the pattern directions for the rose brooch.  I already make a carnation, the rose would be a pretty addition.

Lovely rose.   I am confused though.  How can a pattern be copyrighted when it has been in use for decades?  I have seen your flower in old crochet books, perhaps yours is a little different, but I don't see it.  There are other flowers on this site that make the same claim.   My now long gone grandmother made many crochet roses and flowers.  Just wondering how that works.   Thanks.

As you've already noticed, there's no pattern instructions.  Many comments have been made on this fact, but no responses have appeared.  All of us would really appreciate the pattern.  You've made an excellent rose here.  Thank you.

I found the pattern for this rose at a different crochet site, http://www.crochetpatterncentral.com/directory.php .  At this site, look under Roses and it is listed as Rose Brooch. There are many prettier and earier patterns at this site to make.

The pattern was easy to find by copying and pasting the link into my browser search:

http://nezumiworld.blogspot.com/2009/02/rose-brooch.html

Then I copied and pasted it into my office word and saved it in my documents to print out later.

Thanks for the pattern, it's beautiful. And a thank you in behalf of those who didn't see the link for the pattern (or bother to read previous comments to see if their question had been answered) for your patience.  : )

My friend has asked me to make flowers for her daughters' headbands to wear at her sister's wedding. I'm excited to show her this option.

How sad that I spent all this time filling out information--only to find no pattern.  Apparently you were advised at least as far back as may (comments) that people are having trouble finding the pattern, if it is there.  What kind of sick person does this?  If you don't want to let us use the pattern for free, remove the listing.  If you are selling anything on this sight, why would anyone trust you--there may be nothing there after you pay.  Karma is really out thyere and I hope it brings you as much frustration as you are putting out.  I'd wish you a great day, but I'm still frustrated.

robinakuhn if you look above under  the words THE PATTERN there is a link to the rose pattern, it is FREE, I have also replied to several people who could not find the link and left a post again with the link, I understand not everyone is computer savey.

I can not believe the slanderous remarks you have made about me. I do not own this site!, I do not sell on this site! As a designer I do sell patterns and have never conned anyone or stolen from anyone, the karma is on your head for your evil unsetting post. This is why so many designers I know are no longer putting up free patterns. I will be reporting you for your remarks!
