I just made this hat, and really love it! My tension must have been off though or something because it took me a lot more rounds than listed in the pattern. I also didn't take that into account when making the flaps, so my ear flaps are rather short, but it's still a cute hat!

Sorry about the tension, but I'm glad you liked the outcome.

i have been crocheting for quite some time now.  im pretty good, but im still learning.  in the last few years i have branched out from making afgahns and have started making hats and purses and things of that sort.  i like the design of this hat you have made here.  it is kind of what i was going for with my hats, but i didnt have the right pattern.  i would very much like to make this hat, but i am unfamiliar with a "puff stitch".  if you could explain how to do that one for me, i would really appreciate it.

thank you,

peace, love, and happiness

Great Hat! Just a small question, there are many variations on the puff stitch, are you able to explain the type of puff stitch you applied? Did you chain one to secure the puff stich?

Thanks for sharing!

I absolutely love this pattern! I have seen and crocheted many hat patterns as hats are one of my favorite things to make, but this one is very different from any I have done before and I think it's just great! I hope I can work it. Ever since I was diagnosed with 6 different mental disorders and put on the medications for such, I haven't been able to crochet like I used to (I used to design my own patterns and sell them to crochet publications) . I sure am going to try my darndest to work this one, as I just love it so much! Great job, to the pattern designer!!
