This is actually not something I have made yet. I am posting it to see what other people's results are. Try it!
Yarn: I would use a worsted-weight wool blend.
Hook: 5 mm (H-6)
Variable size, depending on the size of your teapot's bottom.
Worked in the round, great beginner's project for round-working!
Ch 6, join by sl st.
Dc or tr into the ring, enough to make a flat circle.
Dc, tr, or dtr, or a combination of these, enough rounds to fit the bottom of your teapot.
Edging: Ch 3 for turning ch, *ch 5 , skip 2, 3, or 4 (your choice) and dc into the next stitch, repeat from * until you get to 2, 3, or 4 stitches from the turning ch, ch 5, sl st into the top of it (3 sts from main body).
Have fun! Please post your results as comments.
