I llike the burgundy rose motif with the burnt orange background. It reminds me of New England fall. I've seen these done in a multitude of colors, my favorite being burgandy "roses". green "leaves" and white borders. Then, add an outer border of more solid vs. lacy crochet, also in white. The squares, joined for a queen-sized bedspread, were stunningly beautiful!
