I am an RN living in Austin, Texas. I work nights, so on my "days" off, I am up while it is dark outside. I learned to do basic crochet from my grandmother, as well as a few advanced methods when I was younger. I love crochet, love the different patterns you can make. But I have forgotten the advanced stuff, and have set about making a "stitch encyclopedia." While I have my yarn out I have to keep it away from the doggie "jump zone" or "ball zone," keeping her from putting her slobbery ball on my yarn, then jumping up and tangling it all up!
