Greetings all! I've been a member of this community for a bit but have never gotten around to really exploring the place. I'm really thrilled to try out new patterns and learn new things this year! I love crocheting and knitting, as well as playing musical instruments, writing, historical re-enacting (1750s and 1810s), sewing semi-professionally, and spending time with my family - especially my husband and my eight-month-old daughter. I'm really looking forward to making some of the amigurumi creatures for her!
I'm a stay at home Mom and do a little of this-and-that for extra spending money. I'm always willing to try something new - one thing that I would really like to learn more about is crochet and knit lace. It's so beautiful! I've been crocheting since I was 8 or 9 but didn't start knitting until a few years ago. I love the quickness of crochet and how easy it is to whip something up in an hour or two. I have a bit of a problem with starting projects and then not finishing them, though. Hopefully I'll get better about that this year!
