My sister-in-law swears these keep coffee warmer longer than an insulated mug. You won't burn your fingers and you'll save a few trees.

Any worsted weight yarn of any type. A small amount of novelty yarn for the border.
- Hook size: H/5mm
Notes:
All sc are worked in the front loop only throughout the body of this project.

sc = single crochet
sc 2 tog = single crochet two together

Main Body
Ch 13.
Sc in second ch from hook. Sc across. Turn
Ch1. Sc across.
Repeat until body measures 8 inches / 20cm.
Shaping:
Ch 1, sc 6, sc 2 tog, turn.
Ch 1, sc 2 tog, sc to end of row and finish off.
Finishing
Sew seams together (I always slip stitch them together wrong sides out).
While turned inside out, sc novelty yarn around both borders.
Weave in ends.
