Last night the site was slowed way down due to a massive comment spam attack. I disabled comments sitewide, but it seems as if the attack is still coming. (Stupid spambots don't know they're not making any headway. Buggers.) This has, on a good note, kicked us in the collective Cme butt to focus more energy (again) on doing some big-time back-end upgrades that should help to quell the problem. Regardless of our progress this weekend, I'll turn comments back on by Monday.
