HELP!! I am new at crocheting! I tried this scarf but it ended up curving after the first row. I am wondering if my chains were too tight or if there is a trick to the pattern or something i am doing wrong!! I love the scarf and would like to try it!

I've made this scarf in a thick acryl/wool blend with an 8 mm needle in solid white. Works up in an evening and indeed makes a great gift. Love this pattern and will be using it more often!

Susanne

i am now making this scarf in black for a christmas gift...it is easy and quick to make...i love how it looks. i will probably make it in several different colours, including my personal favourite - grey. it is a very feminine look, especially in soft pastel colours such as soft pink, off white and ecru.

This pattern is beautiful and I would love to try it, but I'm still a bit of a beginner crocheter. I'm definitely going to try it though. :o)

I really love this pattern, its so simple and very effective. I have already crocheted 1 scarf with twilleys spirit yarn and now I'm on to my 2nd scarf with Lang yarns(mille colori). They are both very beautiful and quick enough to crochet for christmas pressies.
Thanks for the great pattern.

I love this pattern. It hooks up so quickly and looks great in so many different yarns and combinations. I made one for my mom for christmas along with "The Professional" and she loved them. You can find pictures on my blog, they turned out great. I also made one for myself and am working on another in a light chenile yarn for a friend. Thanks for the great pattern!
