Started with filet crochet some 55 years ago; picked up a variety of stitches in my 20s and 30s. In recent years, I discovered crochenit and rediscovered tunisian crochet. Just this year, I discovered tunisian in the round, and also made my first amigurumi (Rachel Choi's rabbit with a carrot.). I hardly ever use patterns, except to work out a new construction method. I like pushing crochet techniques to find their limits. (The limits, if any, are a long way off.) Throw in drawing, painting, poetry, weaving, languages, science, and community supported agriculture and you're closer to my snapshot. "Sveika" represents my Latvian side.
